Race day

The day after Sally's party I was exhausted from being out the two night before and would have loved a lazy day napping off and on in front of the telly with a good book. That didn't happen. After a late breakfast of sausage sandwiches Tom's mum mentioned he should go look at his dad's "new buggy thing." That "new buggy thing" is a super cool off road go-cart! So rather than snoozing the day away, the entire day was spent racing around the one of the fields.

It was great, I was so fast! I beat Tom in every race too...he was a bit too aggressive with the corners. It was brilliant! He wasn't too happy with loosing to a girl so I let him beat me in the final timed lap of the day. And he got me a bit muddy as revenge...

Flo's friend Ben was with us and the day before had properly raced at Silverstone, the largest racing track in England. He was super excited for the day planning and arranging a few different courses for us along with Tom. Everyone had a great time including the neighbor Alistar and his young son who came over wondering what all the noise in the field was and little Noah who Flo was babysitting.

The original plan when the go-cart was purchased was for it to be used for rabbit hunting. Apparently John had been shopping around for something like this for a while, and when he came across this one on e-bay he just couldn't pass it up. Once we starting driving around it quickly became obvious its noise will scare the little bunnies away. Oh, well its still a great toy! Might need a golf cart now for hunting.
